Carrier onboarding and vetting
Packets processed and carriers verified properly, on the day they apply rather than the day after they fail.
For a brokerage, carrier onboarding is a queue that is always slightly behind. A carrier that takes two days to set up is a carrier that covered somebody else's load, and a carrier that got set up without a proper check is a claim waiting to happen.
It is also process work with clear rules, which makes it well suited to a dedicated seat that does nothing else.
What is included
- Carrier packet intake, review and data entry
- Operating authority and status verification
- Insurance certificate verification and expiry tracking
- Safety record and inspection history review against your criteria
- Identity and fraud screening against your checklist
- Ongoing monitoring with alerts on authority or insurance changes
- A written file on every approved carrier
Your criteria, applied consistently
We do not bring our own standard for who is acceptable. You define it: minimum authority age, insurance limits, safety thresholds, which flags are automatic refusals and which come to you for a judgment call.
Written down once, applied the same way every time, by somebody who is not under pressure to get a truck covered in the next twenty minutes. That last point is the real value. Onboarding done by the person who needs the load covered is onboarding that bends.
Monitoring after approval
Approval is a moment. Risk is continuous. Insurance lapses, authority gets revoked, safety scores move. We monitor the carriers in your file and flag changes rather than discovering them at claim time.
Speed as a competitive advantage
A carrier that can be set up the same morning they apply is a carrier that hauls for you rather than for the brokerage that took two days. With coverage through the night, packets that arrive in the evening are processed before your office opens.
Common questions
Questions we get asked
Do you decide which carriers we approve?
No. We apply the criteria you wrote and we escalate anything that falls outside them. The approval decision is yours, and so is any exception to your own rules.
Which sources do you check?
The public authority and safety records for the relevant jurisdiction, insurance certificates verified with the issuing agency, plus any paid screening tools you subscribe to. We use your subscriptions rather than substituting our own.
Can you monitor carriers we onboarded before working with you?
Yes. Bringing an existing carrier file under monitoring is usually the first project, and it typically surfaces a number of lapsed certificates.
