New authority

Getting taken seriously by brokers in the first ninety days, when nothing about you is established yet.

A new authority faces a specific problem that has nothing to do with driving. Brokers are cautious about carriers with no history, insurance is expensive, and half the setup packets submitted in the first month get rejected or sit unprocessed.

Most of the reasons are fixable and administrative. A carrier with a real website, a business email address on its own domain, a phone number that gets answered and a properly assembled packet is treated differently from one submitting a packet from a personal address.

The presence problem

Brokers check. A carrier with no website and a free email address looks like a risk, because a meaningful share of fraud in this industry looks exactly like that.

Our new fleet launch package covers the website, the phone system, business email on your domain, and the carrier and broker presentations that get sent with a setup packet.

The packet problem

Setup packets get rejected for the same handful of reasons every time: insurance certificate wording, missing authority documentation, inconsistent legal names across documents, and a W-9 or equivalent filled in incorrectly.

Getting the pack right once and reusing it is most of the battle.

Then the freight

Once the authority is active and the packets are accepted, the operation is a normal one and moves to load booking or dispatch. New authorities usually run on load board freight for the first months, which makes overnight board coverage worth more than it will be later.

Common questions

Questions we get asked

Do you help with getting the authority itself?

We handle the administrative preparation and document assembly around it. Filings, legal structure and anything requiring a licensed intermediary should go through the appropriate professional in your jurisdiction.

How soon can you start booking loads?

As soon as the authority is active, insurance is filed and your first broker setups are accepted. Doing the packet work properly first usually makes the booking faster overall.

Is this worth it for a single truck?

The presence package usually is, because it is a one-off that changes how brokers treat you. Ongoing dispatch depends on whether the truck is running enough to justify it, and we will tell you if we think it is too early.

Tell us what is falling through the cracks

A short call is enough to work out whether a dedicated seat, a shared seat or a single service is the right shape. No commitment, no pressure, and we will say so if we are not the right fit.
