Truck dispatch
Full dispatch for small fleets, run inside your accounts, with the broker relationships staying in your name.
Dispatch is the work of keeping trucks loaded and moving, and keeping everybody who needs to know informed about where they are. For a fleet under twenty trucks it is a full-time job that rarely justifies a full-time local salary, which is why so many small fleets have an owner doing it badly between other tasks.
We run that desk. The trucks stay yours, the authority stays yours, and the brokers keep your company in their system rather than ours.
What is included
- Load sourcing across your load board subscriptions and your direct customers
- Rate negotiation within limits you set, escalating anything outside them
- Booking, rate confirmation review and signature routing

- Broker check calls and proactive status updates
- Detention, layover and accessorial documentation as the load runs
- Daily loaded-miles and empty-miles reporting
How the desk runs
Your dispatcher works a defined shift with a written start-of-shift review and an end-of-shift handover. The handover note tells you what moved, what is at risk, what needs a decision from you, and what is booked for tomorrow. It arrives whether or not anything went wrong.
Rate authority is set by you as a floor per mile or a floor per lane. Anything at or above it gets booked. Anything below it comes to you with the reasoning attached. Most owners loosen the limits after a couple of months, but it starts tight and it starts written down.
Who the broker thinks they are talking to
Your company. The setup packets carry your name, your phone number and an email address on your domain. Our dispatcher is a member of your dispatch team, because functionally that is what they are.
We are not hiding where we sit. If a broker asks, they get a straight answer. But the relationship being built belongs to you, and if you ended the arrangement tomorrow the broker list would still be yours.
Equipment and lanes
Dry van, reefer, flatbed and step deck across Canada, the United States and cross-border. Reefer and cross-border need more attention than dry van, particularly around appointment discipline and customs paperwork, so those accounts are staffed accordingly.
Common questions
Questions we get asked
Do you charge a percentage of the load?
Dispatch can be priced per truck or as a dedicated seat depending on the shape of your operation. What we can tell you plainly is that the cost sits at a fraction of staffing the same coverage in North America. Talk to us about your fleet size and hours and we will tell you which structure fits.
Do we have to give you our load board login?
We ask for a named user on your subscription rather than your own login, so the activity is attributable and you can see exactly what was searched and booked. If your plan does not allow extra users we will work out an alternative with you.
Can we still book our own loads?
Yes. We do not ask for exclusivity and we do not charge on freight we did not move. Plenty of our fleets book their direct customers themselves and use us for the load board work and the coverage.
What happens if a load goes wrong at three in the morning?
Somebody is awake. That is the point of the arrangement. We handle the operational recovery and the broker conversation, and we call you rather than deciding for you if a commercial decision is needed.
